The Academic Advising & Transfer Center is designed to assist students in achieving academic and personal success through informed decision making. All current students are invited to use the Academic Advising & Transfer Center to help develop their academic path to graduation and comprehensive transfer planning.
Services provided by the Counseling & Career Development counselors are confidential and free of charge. Our professionally trained and licensed counselors help students clarify values, commitments and emotional preferences. Counselors inform and help students to understand college expectations and procedures and make referrals to college and community resources when needed.
New students attending GRCC for the first time in a degree-seeking program are required to participate in an orientation session. Orientation sessions are offered prior to the start of each semester. See Before You Attend Orientation for more information. Students must RSVP for a session before attending.
