Federal Grants

Federal Pell Grants

This is a federally funded program that provides assistance for any education expenses based on need, academic load, length of enrollment and cost of education. Awards range up to $5,920 (based on full-time) for the 2017-18 aid year.

Pell Grants carry a lifetime limit of 12 semesters of full-time equivalent attendance.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

These federal grants, ranging from $100 to $1,000 annually, are awarded to students of exceptional financial need. Students are encouraged to complete their FAFSA early for best consideration, as these funds are limited. Priority is given to students who qualify for the Pell Grant.

For Pell and SEOG consideration, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
